Another thought;

I know bar trivia is a big thing with the older crowd but I'm not sure how to skew it younger--maybe 90's pop trivia?

For those who have done this, how long were you auctioned off for (was it for an entire evening, or maybe just a two hour date at a specific event?) and how did the date go? I guess it's ok if the auction is something like a date for someone to be with you for 2 hours at the Fireman's Picnic.
Yeah, I was in one about 8-9 years or so ago. It was for a breast cancer charity and the event was called "Babes for Boobs." An individual female organized it to help raise money annually for the charity.

I think I went for around $135 and that was one of the highest amounts. So, not huge, but I think she had around 10 guys and 10 girls so she probably did alright. It was at a bar in Arlington, maybe Whitlow's or one of those, can't really remember. I'm not shy but it ended up being a little humiliaating having to strut my stuff in front of a crowd to try to get bids. A guy I had dated in the past showed up and ran up my bids to help me out, but ultimately a guy several years younger than I (mid- to late-twenties, I was in my mid-30s) had the winning bid.

We did have a specific date -- I'm pretty sure it was a Nationals game (I think I actually had procured the ticket donation). It was fine and I actually hung out with the guy once or twice afterward.
