The thread derails are entertaining.

DGS in Merrfieild has Kosher food and it's damn good too. Great brisket and sides as well as ruebens and more.

DGS Deli in the Mosaic District closed back in the Spring after less than two years in business. The original DuPont Circle location downtown is still in popular operation though.

Most Giant stores actually rank pretty well against area competition. Wherever they live in the area, people end up having a favorite grocery store, and often enough, it's Giant.

It's actually shellfish and seafood generally that are excellent here, whether wild or farmed. We have local product from the Bay and Eastern Shore, while the bounty of North Atlantic waters and shores comes in through the nearby hub of Jessup, MD.

Thank you! I should have known this since I was at Brine last night. No wonder I haven't seen the sign lately.

I'm actually surprised that Brine has remained open, as the place is not typically busy at all for late lunch which is when I'm most often there. Hope other hours of operation keep them in the black, as I do very much enjoy the raw bar and chowder.

I've always been a fan of Brine even when it was getting awful reviews. They stay busy at happy hour from 5:30-8:00 weekdays as I've had trouble getting a table at times. I'm sure rent isn't cheap though sofingera crossed. I love their oysters and punch.

Sterling has a Sweetwater Tavern, which is more than Thailand can say.

Hal Fact: The Sterling Sweetwater Tavern has .13 registered sex offenders.

It is a weird standard of measurement that I was unaware of until I came to this board.

Also we measure distances in bananas. My lot is 24,649 square bananas.
