Came across this site of vintage color photos from Oahu mostly in the 1940's and 1950's - 90% of the photo's are Oahu and with some outer island pics thrown in. Waikiki and downtown looked dramatically different than today.

Another great link is Jane's Oceania Home Page . Rummage around the site for lots of information, photos - old and new - postcards, music, tribal tattoos etc.
Jane covers most all the Pacific Islands, and it is a very interesting site. You could probably spend days on it.
These are all awesome. I collect old 35mm slides of the islands and love looking through them.
