Not a word. As far as I know, he's still missing.

I'm new here and am asking this question only to help me decide whether or not to support a group wanting to donate to this organization. Please tell me what you know.

Anything new up there?
I've never been to the Forest and I'm one of those fools who like to wander around alone.
I will be visiting Umatilla for the first time as well.
I'm sure there are bad areas in the ONF just like anywhere else.
I saw an ad for property in a community around Lake Nicotoon.Looks gorgeous !
I couldn't afford to build the size house required LOL
Is that considered inside the ONF?
So are places like Pittman Paisley and Astor poor areas? I saw some pricey properties listed in Astor, I believe.

I miss being so close to hiking, and I was wondering what some of the highlights of Ocala National Forest might be.

There are bears just outside of Silver Springs, in the ONF. We're in a CG here and people are warning others about the bears. We haven't seen any though, but we've only been here a week. No one we met will wander in the forest alone.

That is an incredibly insensitive comment and far from the truth. Stereotype much ??

Yes some folks fit that profile who live out there, but hardly the norm.
