As I get closer to retirement I struggle with a retirement place to live. I had planned for the last two years to move to central Tn but my wife wants to stay in Florida.

We live in SW Florida now but I would like to purchase a home with a least a couple of acres that we could afford around $130K.

So I am looking to the Ocala area or any other area where a home and land can be purchased for a cost that we can afford.

My wife is younger so she will need to find employment in her graphic arts field.

I work on old cars as a hobby so I will need the extra space of acreage so the neighbors will not complain about noise and old cars sitting around.

So I will be looking for a home with acreage and barn or out buildings with a mother in law suite if possible.

Can anyone point me in a direction to start my search ? Does not have to be Ocala jut need advise and direction to start.

Thanks
Rodney and Alicia

So much empty acreage near Ocala I don't think you neighbors would be a problem.
There's Belleview, a belleview Heights Estates, Summerfield, Silver springs shores so many to choose from.

A site such as zillow.com might help.

Why not contact a local realtor in or near Ocala ?? Wouldn't cost anything.

Another free internet site is Ocala4sale.com.
