But she is young, and there is so much to do in CA if someone takes her or if she is old enough to have a car. I don't know about Ventura though. You have a beautiful city of Santa Barbara just north, beaches west, and probably lots of fun shopping and other things to do.

Cali - will you have to change schools? When we move early next year from NJ to OK my almost-16 year old daughter will have to change schools, too. Cali, you will be mad to hear we had a pretty good snowfall yesterday. It is still on the ground today. I was in Bricktown for lunch yesterday, and it was so pretty with the huge snowflakes falling.

It tried so hard to snow twice here. I even went outside and tried to coax it, but it wouldn't do much. The first time it melted and then quit snowing, the second time it stayed on the ground but quick snowing after a few patches formed on the 24th. But you know what? We also missed the ice storm.
