Does anyone know if Piggly Wiggly might expand in Oklahoma further than the location(s) they have?

Don't really remember Piggly Wiggly being around all that many places except for the eastern part of the state. And that was decades ago. Looks like there are still a couple of them over there upon searching.

I was just curious. I think it’s a unique place mostly to the southern United States. I saw that we’ve had a handful in the past in Oklahoma City and Tulsa outside of the couple we had further east. I’d love to see us have a few more built further west.

I don’t know that I’d WANT one for sure. I’d be fine if we did have one. I was more just curious and interested. Something I saw online got me interested and I wondered if we had any or plans for more than the couple we do have.

I went to Piggly Wiggly some when I lived in Florida. Funny thing was that in Tallahassee they had a convenience store called "Hogly Wogly". Went there on occasion as well. Hogly Wogly had Hogly Wogly T shirts that you could buy. Had a cartoon pig on them. Used to see them around T- town... sorta like Eskimo Joe's around here.

There used to be one in Edmond. It closed around 17 years ago, shortly after we moved here.

Durant had one when I was growing up in the 50’s but it shuttered long long ago. Walmart works great supplemented by local or area stores.

I loved Piggly Wiggly and think there is one in or near Ft Sill? Used to go there all the time, at the P W back in WI. Out in these parts there really isnt many options besides W M. Bring a Piggly to Tulsa!
