Last week my family played on the tidepool beaches in Dana Point until after dark. The sunset was gorgeous and we were all wearing shorts and feeling fine. Yup, weather here sucks, especially this time of year.

LOL!

It's about as paradise as you can get. I LOVE the weather here. If you grew up in Seattle or North Dakota or the UK or Egypt you would be calling SoCal paradise. You're just spoiled is all.

And jobs
And diversity (cultural and geographic)

That's why it costs $300/sqft to live here

It's 34 degrees here in OC right now, just like yesterday morning. I'm sitting here all bundled up with the heater all the way up and drinking hot drinks. And this is after sitting in my sauna. I also had to sit in the sauna last night.

I suspect that 34 degrees was also at night or early morning. It hasn't really been lower than the high 50s during the days. Mostly in the mid-to-upper 60s lately. Should be back to the 70s by Sunday and into next week.

Yeah 34 was the overnight low so that had to be the early am hours.

Southern California has amazing weather in the Spring and Summer...hands down.

Fall blows. It's fire season, air is hot and dry.

Winter - Depends on how you like it your winter. I personally would want winter to feel like winter without having to drive out to Mammoth or Big Bear. Santa Ana winds at 80 degrees on Christmas day was just not my idea of winter.

If I had all the money in the world... I'd be bicoastal. Living here in CA for Spring/Summer, then East Coast for Autumn/Winter.
