Hi KwaK, thanks for the early start for QOTD - means I can get in early before I fall asleep at the end of my day!

Do you sleep through the night ?
Yes, almost always.7 hours a night, regardless of what time I go to bed. I'm grateful I've always been a good sleeper.

If not how many time do you wake up during the night ?

Bonus Question:

How long ago were you a student ?
Hmmm - how does 45 years sound!

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing you took a picture of ?
Friends during a get together in Chicago a few weeks ago.

Do you ever use your cell phone to take a picture ?
No, a phone is a phone! Although my cell phone has the capacity to take pictures it never occurs to me to do so!

If so what was the last cell phone picture you took ?

Just for Fun:

Which of the TV shows in the "Today in TV History" did you watch ?

Were they original or reruns ?
1963 - "Fugitive" premieres on ABC TV - Nope
1964 - "Bewitched" premieres on ABC TV - Yup - probably re-runs
1965 - "The Smothers Brothers Show", a sitcom, debuted on CBS-TV - Nope
1965 - CBS-TV debuted "Hogan’s Heroes" - Yup, seen a few - probably re-runs
1967 - "Mission Impossible" premieres on CBS-TV - Nope, not my cup of tea!
1972 - "M*A*S*H," premieres on NBC TV - Yup, we still have re-runs of this show on TV every day at 5pm, but I don't usually watch it!

Hope everyone has a great Friday and weekend!

I got pole position?? Ooops, never mind in the 3 seconds it took me to type that Kobber beat me to it!

(LOL, I just noticed today is Time's Up Day. Look's like I've already celebrated it!!!!!)

Today's Question:

Do you sleep through the night ?

At this time of year, when the night air is cool, I sleep very soundly. Not so much in the hot summer.

Bonus Question:

How long ago were you a student ?

I'm always a student of something.

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing you took a picture of ?

LOL, I just did a bunch of photo tours for the Nova forum on Wednesday!

Do you ever use your cell phone to take a picture ? No, I don't like the quality.

Just for Fun:

Which of the TV shows in the "Today in TV History" did you watch ?

Were they original or reruns ?

I've probably watched ever episode of MASH as re-runs over the years. I've seen a few Hogan's Heros, and can't believe that show was made. At best it's ridiculous, but mostly it makes me cringe.

Today's Question:

Do you sleep through the night ? Yes I did

If not how many time do you wake up during the night ?

Bonus Question:

How long ago were you a student ? A LONG time ago

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing you took a picture of ? A rooster with his chicas in my front yard - yeah I know, but they looked cute

Do you ever use your cell phone to take a picture ? Mine doesn't take pics - just has features I need. I do though still have the expensive cell (with all the features) from an unnamed carrier in the States who wouldn't give me a new phone after DS dropped mine down 3 flights of stairs "because I wasn't due for another free one for 1 month" (I didn't have landline at the time, only cell) It doesn't even work here, but after spending as much money as I did for it I'll be darned if I throw it away - so almost 6 years later still have it LOL

If so what was the last cell phone picture you took ?

Just for Fun:

Which of the TV shows in the "Today in TV History" did you watch ? All of them! Back when there were just some great TV shows.

Were they original or reruns ? Both and and wish TCM (think that's the channel) would add them to their line-up like they did the reruns of Bonanza (which yes I do watch lol).

Today in History:

1787 - U.S. constitution adopted by Philadelphia convention our poor founding fathers though - if they knew how it's been misused.
1873 - First class at Ohio State University,19 students attend
1934 - RCA Victor re leases 1st 33 1/3 rpm recording (Beethoven's 5th)Tunes!

Today in TV History:
1963 - "Fugitive" premieres on ABC TV
1964 - "Bewitched" premieres on ABC TV
1965 - "The Smothers Brothers Show", a sitcom, debuted on CBS-TV.
1965 - CBS-TV debuted "Hogan’s Heroes"
1967 - "Mission Impossible" premieres on CBS-TV
1972 - "M*A*S*H," premieres on NBC TV and if I'm not mistaken, on one eposide they used a word that had never been said on TV before - course mild compared to now.

Today in Football History:
1920 - The National Football League was formed -- in Canton, Ohio. Canton is now the home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
1937 - 1st NFL game in Washington, D.C.; Redskins beat New York Giants 13-3 and those old games were just brutal because they didn't have all the fancy equipment they do now
1950 - San Francisco 49ers (formerly AAFC) play 1st NFL game, lose 21-17
1961 - Minnesota Vikings' 1st NFL game (beat Chicago Bears 37-13)
1967 - New Orleans Saints 1st NFL game, they lose to Los Angeles Rams 27-13

Word of the Day:
credulous \ KREJ-uh-lus \ , adjective; I usually allow enough time to see how things shake out or do research - whichever applies in the cirumstances
1. Ready or inclined to believe on slight or uncertain evidence.
2. Based on or proceeding from a disposition to believe too readily.

Today is:
National Apple Dumpling Day OK if you'll bake it for me

Today's Question:

Do you sleep through the night?

When I finally get to bed, I sleep like the dead. My spouse claims that you could set off a pony nuke next to my bedside and I wouldn't so much as twitch.

Bonus Question:

How long ago were you a student?

I finished my bachelor's degree a little over five years ago, at the age of 48. Only took me three decades from start to finish....

Extra Credit Question:

Last thing you took a picture of?

Oh, it was probably my cat, though I'll be taking lots of photos in Door County next week.

Do you ever use your cell phone to take a picture?

Nope, we have one of those basic, stripped-down cell phones, the old-fashioned kind that only places and receives calls. And it's usually turned off and sitting in the kitchen drawer anyway.

Just for Fun:

Which of the TV shows in the "Today in TV History" did you watch?

Don't think I've ever seen any of them. I'm not even sure I've heard of all of them.

Today's Question:
Do you sleep through the night ?

Usually. But I also usually only sleep 4 or 5 hours a night.

Bonus Question:
How long ago were you a student ?

Still am. Even at 47 I still take college courses of things I find interesting or classes needed to improve job skills.

Extra Credit Question:
Last thing you took a picture of ?

A demonstration by the local power company at my sons field trip. One point was showing the kids why NOT to get close to power lines.
I wish you would have asked a couple days ago, then it was a cool butterfly wing in the backyard.

Do you ever use your cell phone to take a picture ?
Never.

Just for Fun:
Which of the TV shows in the "Today in TV History" did you watch ?

"Bewitched"
"Hogan’s Heroes"
"M*A*S*H,"

Were they original or reruns ?
Originals.
