Today's Question(s): Yayyyy!
I got me in the Polish position twice this week!
That means I will buy some delicious kielbasa tomorrow!Yayy!

Which room in your home is:
The quietest ? The bathroom.
The Noisiest ? The living room during the day, bedroom at night.
Really messy or cluttered ? ~~~~~

Bonus Question:
Do you have any fun & exciting plans for the weekend ? Yes. I'm buying kielbasa and other things that I shall cook and eat. Plus the usual guitar playing, socializing and football Sunday tradition.

Extra Credit Question: Since I really hate TV, except for things like Leave It To Beaver and Andy Griffith and All in the Family and Seinfeld, let me change the TV related questions into something more applicable for me:
Do you know what Karla got to eat and drink at the fooball game that she went to last Monday? Why, no....no, I do not! Funny you should ask, self....I've been trying to find out all freakin' week!

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you found yourself "Babbling" about something ?
5 minutes ago. I pretty much babble with the best of them.
A long time ago I even lived in a town called "Babylon".

*******
Oops I got "day confused" yesterday I thought it was the 22nd so yesterdays today stuff was actually today's So to be fair to the 21st here is thats days stuff you're babbling, Karla! ......

Yestoday in History: ....
1879 - After 14 months of experimenting in Menlo Park, NJ, Thomas Alva Edison succeeded in producing a working prototype of the electric, incandescent lamp. It could burn for thirteen and a half hours.
1918 - Margaret Owen sets world typing speed record of 170 wpm for 1 min A literary babbler.
1925 - The U.S. Treasury Department announced that it had fined 29,620 people for (alcohol) prohibition violations. The fines totaled $5,000,000. The government should pay back the families.
1959 - Guggenheim Museum, by Frank Lloyd Wright, opens in N.Y.C.
I'll pass on that. I'll be at the hot dog cart and the pizzeria while you go.
1980 - The Phillies won their first World Series title. The Phils won the Series, 4 games to 2. So what, big deal. And anyway, they "won the series" against who?
1979 - I had my first ham and swiss sandwich. It's also the year that
I had my first Pepsi, having been a loyal Coca~Cola drinker prior to that. Coke is still the best, but I thank Pepsi for making Mountain Dew!

Word of the Day:
crepuscular \ kri-PUS-kyuh-lur \ , adjective;
1. Of, pertaining to, or resembling twilight; dim.
2. (Zoology) Appearing or active at twilight
I have liked that word since I was young. It's a cool word, like the word "estivation", which gets people bent out of shape.

Today is:
Apple Day I like Royal Gala, followed by Fuji. Granny Smiths are cool, too.
Garbanzo Bean Day Known as crapanzo bean, to me. BLECH!
National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day Great for you!
Reptile Awareness Day That's every day for me.
Babbling Day This is every day for me, too.

Happy Friday, Happy weekend to all you people that are good!
To hell with the ones that aren't good.
What did you get to eat and drink at the NFL game, Karla?

Today's Question(s):

Which room in your home is:
The quietest ?
Not a peep comes from any room that I'm not actually in
The Noisiest ?
Right where I'm sitting now, computer keyboard clattering and TV burbling away.
Really messy or cluttered ?
Nothing is really messy, but one of the spare bedrooms contains some boxes and bits and pieces belonging to my daughter - she's coming in a week or so to pick them up!

Bonus Question:

Do you have any fun & exciting plans for the weekend ?
Not especially.

Extra Credit Question:

Now that it has been a few weeks since the new TV season has started, lets find out

Which of the new shows do you really like ?
I'm still waiting for Brothers & Sisters season to start Downunder. No promos for it yet, so must be a way off yet.

Any of your returning favorites been a little disappointing ?
Haven't seen any returning favourites yet!

Just for Fun:

When was the last time you found yourself "Babbling" about something ?
I usually babble to the doctor, because I save up my niggly aches and pains till I have several. Then I trip over myself trying to explain them in the short time that's allotted for the appointment.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday!

Today's Question(s):
Which room in your home is:
The quietest? Every room except the rec room.
The Noisiest? The rec room. This is where I spend 95% of my time, except when I'm sleeping. TV and PC are in there.
Really messy or cluttered? My spare bedroom. I have a small 2-br house with very limited closet space, and the 2nd bedroom is used for storage only. It's pretty messy.

Bonus Question:
Do you have any fun & exciting plans for the weekend? Not sure yet. Hoping to catch up on lots of housework, though, and more leaf raking in the yard.

Extra Credit Question:
Now that it has been a few weeks since the new TV season has started, lets find out
Which of the new shows do you really like? Gosh, I know there's one, and for the life of me, I can't think of it right now. Brain's not fully functional yet. I'm enjoying this season's The Apprentice. Even though I don't like Donald Trump, I find the premise of the show interesting, and I like that this season the contestants are down and out business people who are getting a second chance at success.
Any of your returning favorites been a little disappointing? Not really.

Just for Fun:
When was the last time you found yourself "Babbling" about something? I do this pretty often. I get carried away talking sometimes, and it probably comes across as babble to some folks.

Word of the Day:
crepuscular \ kri-PUS-kyuh-lur \ , adjective;
1. Of, pertaining to, or resembling twilight; dim.
2. (Zoology) Appearing or active at twilight
The deer around here are crepuscular. They're all over the place at dusk!

Today is:
Apple Day These are good.
Garbanzo Bean Day So are these.
National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day This is fantastic! I used to work with a lady who baked pumpkin cheesecakes and brought them in to the office during the fall months. I miss Carolyn!
Reptile Awareness Day I like reptiles!
Babbling Day Blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah....
