Good morning everyone
I have to hurry, because we have to be out of here in 45 mins we both have to shower and I have to get the dogs to go out.
Hey I just changed ideas for todays question

Todays question :

How long does it take you to get ready ?

Today in history:
December 15 1939 - The cinema spectacular, "Gone With the Wind", premiered at Loew’s Grand Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
For including the word ‘damn’, producer David O.Selznick was fined $5,000.

Word of the day:
draconian \dray-KOHN-ee-uhn; druh-\, adjective:
Excessively harsh; severe.

Today is National Cupcake Day

If all I am going to do is shower and go we are talking 15 mins.
add in the shave the legs, blow dry and make-up we are looking at 40 mins

add about 15 mins to get all the dogs to go out and "take care of their business"
why they can't pooop at the same time is beyond me

2 go out then come in and the 3rd then decides to go out then once the third is back in the first realized they forgot the above mention so out they go again.

hubby can be ready in 10 mins but of course he doesn't participate in the "dance of the dogs" lol

ok shower time

I'm going to have to go with mystree on this one. About 45 minutes for the transformation to take place. If I'm just getting ready to spend a day at home though, about 15.

Depends but I could be ready in ten minutes if I had to. On average 20/25 minutes from shower, hair, make up and dress.

My family thinks that I am a draconian pain in the butt because it takes me about an hour. It is the only time of the day that I have to my myself. That hour gives me time to clear my head...put together what I am doing for the day..shower, blow dry hair, then flat iron, have my coffee and be ready for my job with a smile on my face for the day. (I work with kids).
The habit has spilled over to weekends also but if I have to be somewhere, I can speed it up.

In the 1980s, it took me about 12 minutes to get ready.

In the 1990s, it took me about 28 minutes to get ready.

Now, I am never ready.

Ok. Do we factor in our morning CD time as the getting ready process?

When I leave CD to go get ready, shower, and dress, the idle message comes up as 21 minutes on the dot each time. Then I have to dry my hair. 5 minutes, make up? uh... no! Everything I need in my scrub pockets? 15 seconds.

And time left to run through CD again!

OMG...just when I thought CD was not running my life, yea right!

Oh, Make up.... burts bees clear lip balm. LOL I am sure someone will tell me when i need more. My stbx told me I needed foundation because I was seemingly getting so pale.

I am not pale anymore! WOOHOO! I guess I would pale just before it was time to get home from work, because he was right. I was pale when I got home, almost like a ghost...not anymore! YAY!!!! YAY!!!! Oh, and did I say..... YAY!!

Depends on what I am getting ready for. I crawl out of bed and into the shower so that I can be awake enough to work the toothpaste. If I have no plans I can be out the door with the dog in 15 minutes. If I am getting ready for work I walk the dog first, then shower (hot, humid FL). Then I sit and drink a cup of tea and a few quiet moments to myself. Then I stand in front of my bulging closet and insist that I have nothing to wear for at least 3.5 minutes before I make a decision. Then I have to co-ordinate accessories. Maybe an hour and a half? Good thing I wash my hair at night and don't wear make up............
