Wishing you a tail-wagging-good Thursday! Wow. That is a great photo, bjh. Thanks for the questions and info.
Today's Unhurried Questions: The US $10 bill is going to be re-designed with a woman's portrait on it by about 2020.
Whoever is selected, she cannot be a living person. With that in mind, who would you like to see on the $10 bill?
---> https://thenew10.treasury.gov/faqs
---> https://thenew10.treasury.gov/share-your-ideas In theory I support a woman being on U.S. currency, but I like Alexander Hamilton so I'd rather not see them change the $10 bill. I would rather see William McKinley replaced on the $500 bill or a woman replace him on the dollar coin. My choice of woman would be either Eleanor Roosevelt, Harriet Tubman, Sacajawea, Elizabeth Cady Stanton or Jane Addams.
Last time anyone was removed from a US bill was the 1920s. How much will you miss Alexander Hamilton on the ten? I would miss him because I think he has a handsome face and he was a very important figure in U.S. history. Also I have a personal connection to the town where he had the fatal duel, Weehawken, New Jersey. My first serious boyfriend was from there, and I have visited the site of the Hamilton-Burr duel.
What tips do you have for coping with hot weather? Stay inside or in the shade, drink a lot of liquid, go swimming if you can, eat light, wear loose, lightweight clothing, go out early in the day or after sunset.
How did you spend last Sunday? I didn't feel well, so I skipped the gym, stayed in and watched TV.
Something you own that has a magnet. My refrigerator magnets:
The last thing you wrote on paper? A shopping list
If a book was interesting, but 400 pages long, would that put you off reading it? Not at all. I have read many books that long and longer.
Foodie Questions: What flavor Slurpee would you like? Cherry, or whatever the red flavor is.
Have you enjoyed watermelon yet this year? No, not yet. I've seen them in the grocery store, though.
If you had to grab something last minute to bring to a potluck this Thursday, food or supplies, what would you bring? I would bring peanut butter cookies.
Thanks, bjh! Love the photo.

Whoever is selected, she cannot be a living person. With that in mind, who would you like to see on the $10 bill? [b]Maybe whoever you can argue was the most active first lady? I'm not sure.

Last time anyone was removed from a US bill was the 1920s. How much will you miss Alexander Hamilton on the ten? I'd rather see Andrew Jackson gone from the $20. I used to didn't care for Hamilton but after my history courses this school year, I think his ideas were better than Thomas Jefferson's. But I really won't care who's on my money. It won't buy me much anyway.
What tips do you have for coping with hot weather? Keep hydrated.
How did you spend last Sunday? At my house, my mom's side came over to celebrate Father's Day, my sister's birthday, my twin cousins' upcoming birthday, and my cousin's belated birthday.
Something you own that has a magnet. My hippie van magnet/can opener.
The last thing you wrote on paper? My work schedule on my calendar.
If a book was interesting, but 400 pages long, would that put you off reading it? I hardly read at all.
Foodie Questions:
What flavor Slurpee would you like? Cherry, please!
Have you enjoyed watermelon yet this year? I don't care for watermelon.
If you had to grab something last minute to bring to a potluck this Thursday, food or supplies, what would you bring? Fried pickles!

Last time anyone was removed from a [b]US bill was the 1920s. How much will you miss Alexander Hamilton on the ten? Kinda'. The $10 bill is my favorite for pocket bills.
What tips do you have for coping with hot weather? If you over-heat while outside doing something busy, like gardening, place an ice bag inside your hat for a big cool-off.
How did you spend last Sunday? Not much. A little garden work, some house cleaning, a nap....
Something you own that has a magnet. A back brace.
The last thing you wrote on paper? Filling out a check for my credit card bill.
If a book was interesting, but 400 pages long, would that put you off reading it? It could, but it also depends on the book.
Foodie Questions: What flavor Slurpee would you like? Lime.
Have you enjoyed watermelon yet this year? Nope, not yet.
If you had to grab something last minute to bring to a potluck this Thursday, food or supplies, what would you bring? I wouldn't. I don't do well with impromptu, or short-notice, potlucks.
I would like to see Raquel Welch on the new $10 bill...........
