not sure how often we did that but it made them last longer.
I bought a 2-sided mattress from The Original Mattress Factory, so I still do. Each Memorial Day and Thanksgiving Day, I rotate the box spring, flip the mattress, and replace the furnace HEPA filter.

I'm not this old... but the first cowboy was in Florida. The first horse and the first cow was brought to the "New World" by Ponce DeLeon... therefore the first cowboy was in Florida.

The word 'cracker' is from whip used to 'herd' cattle.

I'm so old I can remember when "Cowboy" was an insult, it meant a horse thief, robber, or outlaw. (in fact, the Clanton Gang was called the “Cowboys", and there was also the Cochise County Cowboys, another infamous gang of outlaws.)

Those who raised cattle were generally called herders or ranchers. Or ranch hand, range hand or trail hand. Never "cowboy".

I really want to know that and will now have a problem falling asleep. I think that I kind of, sort of, know something about that, but I'm too tired to fully research it.

Originally it was just Rueckheim's young grandson Robert and "his" dog. He morphed into a sailor.

I'm so old I can remember buying a box of Cracker-Jacks just for the prize.

In Florida they're called crackers or cow hunters.
