FWIW Sweetness of Twix candy bars History!

When the Twix candy bar first came out they were located in the cookie aisle. There was 10 bars to package.

BTW I'm out of Twix!

I'm so old I remember when Ralston Purina came out with a breakfast cereal that was pretty much just cookies.

This ruined the entire scam for kids, who had been able to get away with eating cookies for breakfast for many years, because Moms everywhere looked at this, and said, "Hey! This is just cookies!"

Busy signals on phones, instead of bloody finger voice prompts.

You just proved my point.

There have always been people in need and they're always been people who judge them.

The problem is that too many people think that people in need are freeloaders.

I'm so old that I remember a culture and a society (ours) that was a whole lot more compassionate and generous than it is now.

I'm so old I remember the story about somebody putting razor blades in apples on Halloween! (no more unwrapped treats were used after that)

No brownies, cookies, fudge, apples, nothing but wrapped candy.

I also remember finding out the story was fake, and created by the big candy industry, to increase sales. Even so, nobody gives out anything but wrapped store bought candy anymore.

Like SFX, I remember hearing that too and if it wasn't razor blades, it became some kind of drugs.

Still didn't stop us, although we mostly went to the homes of people that we knew.
