I remember watching the TV Show Topper. It may have been the original show with ghosts in it. Loved the big St. Bernard in it too.

Listening to short wave radio for international broadcasts. Now of course everything is transmitted by satellite.

Clear plastic seat covers for cars back then. Good lord they were hot and sticky in the summer time. I could never understand why dad would use them on brand new seats.

Solid steel dashboards that would bust a head wide open in a crash. Then came plastic... A good use for plastic or the vinyl form of it.

I remember watching the original first runs of Star Trek and Batman TV series, on a black and white TV, with a snowy picture, pulled in from 50 miles away with a 40 foot high antena. I also watched the first moon landing that way. Good times.
