I'm new to this forum but like what I see. Say I have a question I'll throw out to a bunch of different state forums because I want to check this out pretty good.Does anyone know much about broadcasting local sports and stuff on the internet? I'm not talking about music because I understand there are a bunch of copyright things involved with that. But I have run across someone selling the idea of this as either a business for someone or I guess a fundraiser for different kinds of sports teams like vfw baseball, softball or even high school games. It sounds kind of interesting as I've always had an interest in maybe doing ball games and such. And I think I could sell the sponsorships. I've been looking for something I can do to make a little extra money and to just have some fun with...
Tim, I've never run across any opportunities along those lines. But I'd think most of the "caveats" that you'd apply to any other business opportunity or job offer; Do they want money up front? What do they promise you for that money? Have you been able to find out anything on them independently? (Better Business Bureau, etc.) I guess you probably ought to apply the same skepticism that you might apply to any other offer, like "Make big money stuffing envelopes at home"... Hope you can use some of this info for your situation; best of luck!
No they really don't seem to be after big bucks. for what ya get it seems reasonable enough. Just wondering if anyone else on the forum had gone down that path.
Thanks.
