I want to move, but I'm not in a position to be able to for another two or three years. In the meantime, I dream my life away by researching other cities, and waste-- I mean spend-- time in these forums.
Well, y'all know that I have fully admitted that I have a problem. They tell me that is the first step in stopping my addictive behavior. Unfortunately, no one bothered to tell me what the second step is, so I am stuck here!
When I first visited city-data.com, I was looking for a winter vacation home on the Colorado River in AZ. I wanted warm weather, water and palm trees. I found my vacation home in 10/06. It's May 07 now and I'm still here. Guess I'm addicted! I check-in on a daily basis. Other-Topics threads always put a smile on my face. You folks are great! Thanks for being here.
I stumbled across the site quite awhile ago...looking up my hometown. It needed pictures. I took and submitted some, kept checking back to see if any were used, and after nearly a year...I suddenly found the state forums. Being the "helpy helperton" that I am...I started answering questions and providing information links to folks in the Alaska Forum. Took me awhile to step into the other forums...but here I am...not moving...just socializing, with about a dozen drunken hotties, and some cool dudes in loose moods.
I picked the last one. I started out looking for information on a variety of places. Soon I became a City-Data addict. Now I can't go a day without my cd fix.
I still check out info on some states as sometime in the future we might move.
I joined to get information about Tennessee and North Carolina and then got hooked. See how so many are touched by Matthew's death (MoMark) it really proves how deeply we care about each other. We're real people with real faces and problems and I have made some wonderful friends on here and I very grateful to all you.
