I have not made alot of jewelry for a while, since I have been here, therefore, have not made any money making the jewelry that I would normally have sold..hmm... anyone want any handcrafted jewelry... lololol j/k I found this place by doing a search and it came up on the bottom right hand corner of the search...
I have done other North carolina searches since and OMGoodness... there is cd in that very same corner... with exerpts of some of MY posts... I am a superstar!!!
I am here finishing up the research for a move. This site helped my husband and I figure out what place best suited our wants and needs in an area. I love reading the different opinions about areas here.
I have no desire to move. I just feel as if Scranton has been given a "bum rap" for too many years and needs its vibrant urban hipster youths to come online to proclaim to the world that we are no longer runner-up for "Armpit of America," as we were in the late-1990s. If I can help even one person move to our area (and I've been in touch with at least two that already have), then I've done my job!
We found CD after we moved and originally my husband was using the site to learn more about the area we moved to (TX). The the DH started telling me about the people posting and that one of them got banned for something and how much great info this person was able to give and what a bummer it was that they got banned. I was curious and started reading and then something posted in the WA forum grabbed me and I had to register and post. I had been struggling to meet people to socialize with since moving so I had plenty of free time to read, well eventually I browsed around into OT and from there I got hooked! I read and giggle and read and giggle and read and sometimes post and now I am still without any new friends and no free time to meet any because I am always on CD!
I am not moving, nor have I moved and none of the above as well lol Funny, I found this site looking up some info on treehouses of all things. Here I am still somehow but I have started building said treehouse so I suppose my child will be moving soon.... to the backyard. Does that count?
Researching possible moves,got hooked answering questions about places I lived before.now its becoming fun.also looking at other forums not related to moves or states.
