Less than three hours sleep, 8 hrs of sandbagging, then over to the stables for a couple more hours of bailing water out of the stalls. Hows that for fun!!
Now what should I do for the rest of my day??

Been fighting a head cold or sinus infection but this morning I had enough and woke up after tossing and turning, got cleaned up and went to the doctor....So now I have the meds to make the rest of this day much better than it would have been otherwise......
3:37am, just finished watching a good movie (Babel) on TV, now it is all quiet and dark outside, at the same time there is a full moon straight above, there is also a slight breeze blowing from the Atlantic, lizards are running up and down the walls of the houses across the street (and probably mine as well when I'm not watching), there is the occasional sound of a lonely cricket. Strange, surreal atmosphere...
Dbl-r, I hope u r feeling better. I am on vacation in the deep South and having a lovely time. I understand the weather here is unusually hot for the locals, but I love it except for the humidity. Hey aLLyaLL I miss u

Been outta state all week and finally back in town.....thanks my queen for thinkin of me...been medicated and feelin much better now thanks....got in late slept well and woke to a light rain, cooler temps and that kinda day where if ya wanted you could just sleep all day and not miss a thing...

Today is a rainy day and I feel like going back to bed. I've been up all morning waiting for the QOTD but it's a no show and I just don't think I can sleep until it shows up! Help!
Ilene I am thinking of spending of couple of days in Greenvile before I head home. I wouldn't go home at all if I didn't have too. I love Southern charm. And I am so charming in the South. Everywhere u go people r so friendly especially the men folk. These southern boys see something they want and they just go for it I guess. One very charming fella up and kissed me... I would have slapped his face, but he was a real good kisser and he did say thank u ma-amm and I said the pleasure is all mine before I could stop the words from coming out of my mouth... I am having a great vacation!
Well no kisses today or night But I am happy anyway I have my own room in a brand new hotel and there r a lot of nice people about even if some of them r a little too happy from indulging in spiritous libations.
