Today's Question(s):

"Vern the Vacation House Fairy" has gotten his tools back from Fred

So where will you be having your Vacation House built ? Aruba

Bonus Question:

The last time you were disappointed was it due to a
Thing ?
Person ?
Event ?

Extra Credit Question:

I really need to catch up on housework

Just for Fun:

I can now officially add sleeping late to my "resume" ?

Today in History:
1660 - Isaack B. Fubine of Savoy, in The Hague, patents macaroni no wonder it has such an Italian sounding name
1789 - The first Presidential Inaugural Ball(George Washington) was held in New York City. Each lady in attendance received as a gift a portrait of George Washington. Wonder if any of them are still in existence. If so, how much would they be worth today????
1824 - Beethoven's 9th (Chorale) Symphony, premieres in Vienna - one of my favorites !!!
1888 - George Eastman patents "Kodak box camera" I had one of those as a child. Took great pictures.
1914 - U.S. Congress establishes mother's day Happy Mum's Day to all the mums in OT.
1941 - Glenn Miller and his orchestra recorded one of the great American music standards, "Chattanooga Choo Choo", on this day "Pardon me boys...."
1966 - Mamas and Papas "Monday Monday" hits #1 and TGIF to you, too.
1982 - IBM releases PC-DOS version 1.1 Eh?

Word of the Day:
eristic \e-RIS-tik\ , adjective;
1. Pertaining to controversy or disputation; controversial.
2. Of argument for the sole purpose of winning, regardless of the reason. Not in OT!! We're a friendly bunch here!

Today is:
National Roast Leg of Lamb Day
National Tourism Day
Paste-up Day ?????
Scale Day - yeah right something is just wrong, having this right after "no diet day"
No Pants Day Eh?????
Great Lakes Awareness Day

Just for Fun:

I can now officially add _________ to my "resume" ?

I've been doing it (not using a template) for 3 of the 5 years here, but webmaster. Of course, the software had to turn out to be one of the most complicated so took a bit to figure out some of the in and outs, and still have to play around with things when wanting to make some changes to code (I love the 'help' feature).

Today in History:
1660 - Isaack B. Fubine of Savoy, in The Hague, patents macaroni didn't know it was patented.
1824 - Beethoven's 9th (Chorale) Symphony, premieres in Vienna - one of my favorites !!!
1888 - George Eastman patents "Kodak box camera"
1914 - U.S. Congress establishes mother's day

1966 - Mamas and Papas "Monday Monday" hits #1
1982 - IBM releases PC-DOS version 1.1 didn't use them until a bit later (DA's office was cheap for us poor people over in county court division), but dang hated having to essentially write code just to print an envelope - was so glad when they came out with windows and I could just select the brand/size of envelope and voila.

Word of the Day:

1. Pertaining to controversy or disputation; controversial.

Scale Day - yeah right something is just wrong, having this right after "no diet day"
No Pants Day lol would scare away the clients and tourists - will wear a skirt as to not cause mass panic in the streets.
Great Lakes Awareness Day
Happy TGIF everyone and here's to a good weekend
