Good morning!

Hopes, if you want to share, I'm very curious. Sorry, whatever it was.

MM- Happy birthday!

In-laws plane is delayed. About 3 more hours until they arrive.

Happy 3-day weekend!

Good morning all!

Happy Birthday MM! Wishing you all the best on your birthday and the year to come.

Hopes now you have me curious. We are all here if you wish to share.

RK is it a good thing for a 3 hour delay? Are you looking forward to their arrival?

Yeah, sorrry MM. Your guys didn't look inspiring. Our TV announcers were talking about TT. Before the game he went up to the stands and signed a bunch of autographs for the kids. They said he was swarmed and took as much time with them as he could. That's cool.

I noticed Mr. Quinn has no butt. Hmmmmm... He lost a few points.

No plans for us this weekend. I'm not big on travelling on holiday weekends and fighting the crowds. Plus it's too hot. Another haboob came in last night. I'm very glad I was too lazy to get my car washed yesterday.

Sorry Hopes.

MM - Happy Birthday! Have a wonderful day!

Hopes - Sorry the start of the school year is not going well.

DS is having an issue with one little twerp in his class who insists DS must be Mexican. Calls him Illegal Beagle, Burrito Brains, Taco Time. Gee, wonder where he learned all of that?

Oh good grief! How is your son handling it?

He doesn't really get it as he doesn't see anything wrong with being Mexican, so he's just indignant that the kid won't believe his authentic heritage. He has friends of Mexican descent, and from all over really, and just thinks the kid is stupid for not understanding geography better. Ah, the innocence of youth!

Well that's good! Be glad that's how he's looking at it, that's for sure.

I will have to say, those names that kid is calling him - I have not heard those before and I thought I had heard them all having lived Texas for as long as I did.....

Happy Birthday MM!

Sorry Hopes. I'm not sure I would be as gutsy as you are. Persevere, and remember you are a CDMWR.

Ah Zim, nasty little s@#$ts can take joy out of school, can't they? At least your DS isn't a Huck (I still like it, alone though I might be). I figure kids can make a taunt out of any name if they try hard enough.

A good chance of rain moving in here by the end of the weekend. I will welcome it, no matter what holiday it might ruin. We need it badly.

Enjoy your weekend all
