I always tried to keep in mind that there were many times they probably wanted to lock ME in the closet and throw away the key.

If you gotta hide it, it aint right. I know that seems harsh and I know that some people call CPS ridiculously, over everything, but in NJ an open hand on the bottom is completely legal. Pinching is mean. And has the potential to bruise.

I know what you're going through....most little people go through the touch and feel themselves stage....I always told my little ones that there's nothing wrong with it, but that it was something they were only to do in their rooms....I told them it was embarrassing for others to see, and something only done in private....they seemed to understand allright....and kept it to their rooms after that.

I couldn't help but think of this thread today when I had to tell a 16-year-old junior to get his hands out of his pants. The class was mortified and agreed with me when I sent him to the restroom to wash his hands. They didn't want him touching anything--the hall pass, the door knob, etc. He didn't seem too upset about it. He was sitting in the front of the class in full view of everyone and right in front of me.

Tell me again how long it takes for boys to learn not to play with it in public? I got the message early without anyone having to tell me twice. Just the threat of a spanking was enough to keep me on the straight and narrow.
