I didn't want to derail the "Is one child enough" thread, but something Braunwyn said made me want to comment. It is so shocking and sad what arguing about money can do to families. It tore apart my grandmother and her four sisters. I hope, I wish, I pray that never happens to my family. Some people think money can buy (something close enough to) happiness, but I think too much of it can be poison.
That feels irrational, though. Money is a tool; people can be evil, not money.
What do you think? Maybe I should take it to Great Debates.

I've seen that happen in so many families I've lost count. I've seen literal knock-down drag out fights among family members.
Once... at a funeral. It started during the wake, there was some civility at the internment (but not much), then the fisticuffs began in the men's room of the restaurant where a "family dinner" was held. (And this was in Chicagoland, lol. What's in the water there?)
Good subject for Great Debates.
