Driving with my lights off down a really dark, windy, narrow road, way down in my seat so I couldn't see a thing. Follow strangers around in my car.

I was/am such a square. The worst thing I ever did as a kid was cheating on a spelling test in 2nd grade. I got caught, of course. I remember I wrote a letter of apology to the teacher and I think I missed recess one day for it. I felt guilty about it for years!

Me too, I was so quiet at school and never really did anything bad especially to anyone else... the one regret or embarrassment was in typing class.. I was very fast at typing , but it was a test and for the life of my I took a blank at the tabs part.. and asked the girl across the aisle the tabs.. she put it on a piece of paper and passed it over.. In the test I came second highest and was mortified, and couldnt look at this girl or talk to her again.... Now years later we met up on a chat forum by accident, she lived in Canada now and what a lovely woman. When she came home for a short holiday we met up and I mentioned to her why I didnt talk much to her at school... She said she never noticed and that we got on fine.... we were never pals but shared the same art class and I always admired her art and told her so.... I then said about the typing test and how Id cheated with her help.. and she said that she didnt remember a thing about it, so for all those years I felt guilty at my high marks for typing thinking this girl would be furious and she wasnt... Can I now leave the confession box father hahaha.

The worst thing I did as a child was NOT learning to play the banjo. I have a deep regret now, at 44, that will likely haunt me for the rest of my life.

My grandmother made the fatal error of turning her back on her two very imaginative grandchildren (6 and 4) when we were in her hot tub in Florida. We each had little plastic alligators and were playing, but I quickly realized that a hot tub was a thoroughly unsuitable place for an alligator. Alligators live in swamps! So the only reasonable thing to do was grab handfuls of dirt to throw in the hot tub. :P

We were so proud of our swamp. My grandmother, less so.
