Smile Relocating to McSherrystown, PA

Hello,
I will soon be relocating to McSherrystown, PA and was wondering if there are any people who could give me some feedback on the area. I am into working out and would like to have a nice gym nearby. Also, any good restaurant recommendations? Are there some nice parks for children to play around the area? Any thoughts or feedback about the area would be appreciated.

Thank you

Mcsherrystown is a small place. you will be right outside of Hanover PA where you will do most of your shopping and dining. there are several gyms to work out in One of the biggest is club 200o in Hanover, YMCA also Hanover, and there are many smaller ones.
We have Red lobster, Ruby Tuesdays, Texas Road House, Chillies, And most of the chain places. many mom and Pop places. Pizza out the yazoo, Tell me what your favorite food is and i will suggest a place for you to try.
Also many parks State Parks. I think you and the little ones will enjoy Codorus state park...There is so much to do.
let me know what other questions you have i live right in the area and am happy to be your eyes for now.

Default More questions

Hi Sharris,
Thank you for the information regarding McSherrystown. We ended up finding a place in Hanover, Pa. I have a trial pass for the YMCA locations, and am satisfied with the gyms, they are well equipped for lifting and cardio.
I also checked out Cordorus State Park online and it seems to be pretty nice. You mentioned that there are other park around the area? We live in South Hanover and the children are 3,7, 11, and 13. Can you recommend any other parks for us to visit (ones with good playgrounds would be a plus). I've been to the Hanover Library and was impressed. I've driven by the North Hanover Mall and also part of Eisenhower drive and took the 11 year old to Faloon's for mini golf, batting cages and video games.
Can you recommend any other family friendly places/activities in the nearby area?

Thanks
