I look through the comments though and I am amazed at the amount of negativity against anything positive for Philadelphia... Whether its an Old Navy, Rag & Bone, new condos, new park, etc, people just live off of hate and negativity.

Finally something to brag about. Rag & Bone taking over the former BCBG space! First Philly area location too.
VERY MUCH to brag about!
I really hope this is a catalyst for MORE great retailers coming to some other empty slots in Walnut.
Bonus point: It has men's clothing!

If you're talking about philly.com it's LOADED with trolls with no lives.... the same kind of mouth-breathing idiots who post on gossip websites. And because the Inquirer, etc. does not have the resources/man power to do anything but the bare minimum, no one gets banned and they've chosen to ignore their very comments section disclaimer.

I just posted a reply to the aforementioned commenter in which I referenced a chapter in Elijah Anderson's The Cosmopolitan Canopy which uses the N-word in its title; I spelled it out in full, which I usually don't do.

I then posted another comment in response to the same one, and noted on the one I had posted this message:

"Hold on, this is awaiting moderation by Philly.com."

Disqus includes some pretty robust moderation tools. They still require human intervention, though. But there is an auto-flagger, I guess.

MCM (high end leather goods store) Nic+Zoe(high end womens boutique from Boston) and tons of new restaurants from some Philly chefs announced for KoP.

Surprised Nic+Zoe is opening in the mall, independent boutiques are more common to find in a big city rather than a mall.

Obviously Simon does not need to do any of this stuff to fill the K of P expansion. Just shows what a "junk" project this is.

I wonder if its just because Simon is so huge a of a player in the retail industry, and if city politics are in the way, or because KoP is just the obvious choice for new retail.
