Don't disagree entirely but Lits (when it existed) was kind of like a local version of Kmart. Not on par with S&C or Wanamakers.

The article says there will also be retail, which should no doubt be the firm's flagship.
They already have their flagship on chestnut. They'll likely use it as a test store to try new layouts, fixtures, designs, etc.

Was in Philly this weekend and happy to see the new Under Armour on Walnut was packed, and Rag n Bone finally has signs in the window saying coming winter 2016. I was getting nervous about that.

&Pizza Expands Beyond Beltway with Philadelphia Location

And Philipp Plein is coming to KoP (German Designer). This is only his 5th US location! We beat out SF, Chicago, Boston, and DC (there may be a few outlets too). I know KoP is amazing, but I didn't know there was that strong of a market in SEPA for $500 T-Shirts and $5000 jackets. I am impressed.

And not really retail, but a space in the new snazzy building on Walnut will be filled by a popular DC pizza chain. And open until 3am on weekends! That will add some late night foot traffic.

Yep, I stepped into Under Armour yesterday! Definitely a major positive addition on Walnut.

Who cares? Lol Well, I'm kidding...

The Dralion opens tomorrow (people are already moving in) along with the new Whole Foods. It will surely be mobbed over the weekend...

Now now, if that opened in CC (never will), everyone on here would be so excited. Finally to the New Whole Foods opening, still waiting on my 2nd Trader Joes even though I moved lol.

Not a Prada, Burberry, Gucci, but AC Moore!

I was scratching my head when I read this, seems like another wasted location on Broad. Walgreens, Wawa, and AC Moore at probably the three most prominent intersections in the entire city...

But it their first urban store ! (Sigh......)

Anyhow the new Whole Foods sounds fantastic and is being described as the MidAtlantic's flagship store. Seems better than any I've seen in NY.
