It's a FABULOUS neighborhood. I went on a walking tour of it a while back. Just great houses. 'Course like so many other places home values have sky-rocketed.

Plenty of jobs out there for someone normal.

Poor Mayfair:
It happened again (three days in a row) ... Students from Lincoln High rampaged through the streets, destroying property and attacking those who didn't look like them.
A local kid got his neck slit with a knife, almost bleeding to death. The media is ignoring it.
Just another reason more taxpayers will flee the area.

Remember me talking about having a friend in Nebraska? There a surprising amount of crime there mostly driven by drugs and alcohol and lots of guns. My friend's best man, at her wedding, was murdered in his house. The perp was tried but got off because cops out there were clueness about proper evidence collection.

Yeah, I know, there's crime everywhere ... just that there's a higher chance of it in some areas than others.

And before anybody else gets defensive - yeah, I also know economics and upbringing are a factor (but not always, sometimes it's simply hate and envy-based ... which is likely what's happening in Mayfair).

I got to listen to the gunshots out my bedroom window last night. How wonderful.
