What do you call those sandwiches with ham and vegetables, mayo and all?

perfect thickness, taste, just so perfect

a Hoagie has more then ham. The only 'veggie' it has too is lettuce and tomato.(unless you get peppers or or other stuff on it)

IMO in addition to whatever meats/cheeses you use, and your oil/vinegar (or I suppose mayo if you swing that way for whatever reason...), you really need lettuce, tomato, onions (optional), pickles, hot & sweet peppers, salt, pepper & oregano for it to taste like a hoagie.

Also critical is that you need bread that's not going to fall apart or turn into mush containing all of those juices.
