I'm looking to get internet; what are my options ?

I do not have cable tv, nor do I intend to get it.

Also; how much would a basic phone line cost ? No long distance.

My basic phone plus the least expensive of the three DSL options from Verizon (which is plenty fast btw) is now running about 31.00 per month after two years. In the beginning with a promotion it was about 18.00 for the first year. I highly recomend it since service never goes down and as mentioned it's plenty fast.
