this conversation has taken a turn for the ridiculous. if someone finds they get along with white trash in nj that's one thing but there are fine men and women from the area. it's harder to meet people from an area because they have an established circle of friends and family and probably less likely to be actively looking for friends, that's just life. within our group of friends we have people from the city as well as other states and countries. the "new" people came into the circle mainly through work.

That's absurd. I know a few guys who have lived in Philly all their lives, and they no more weirder than guys from other parts of the country. Most of them I know are either in healthy relationships or seem not to have a problem with dating. Not all native Philadelphians are Rocky Balboa or the nuts you see at Eagles' games(most of them actually live in Jersey).
Philly is a diverse city, you can have two people who were born and raised in Philly with different personalities.

My quote was a play on what the person had written above. He was saying the women in Philly was strange and so I turned it around on him since he was a guy from Philly saying that. I didn't come with an opinion, so you are missing that I was being tongue and cheek.
