No. I could never bash a baby's head in, not even if it was Hitler. But I would kidnap the baby, take him far away, love him, raise him differently...and hope it would make all the difference.

And maybe you could use electrolysis or laser hair removal or something on his face, to make it impossible for him to grow that horrible mustache.
No, because a baby is completely pure and innocent. Even though you know it's going to do evil, the baby is still clean at the moment. Punishing an innocent is evil.
It'd be a better idea to go back in time and stop them right in the act of doing evil.

This! According to the OP we have access to a time machine, so why is our only option to go back and kill a baby? That's sick. I'd go back and kill the man.
Answer one:
If you could go back in time, why would you choose murdering the baby instead of kidnaping it and having it raised by a decent family in some place like Vermont?
Answer two:
So you go back in time, kill baby Hitler, return home, and discover that without Hitler's mistakes, Germany won WWII and the world is a very bad place now, and they are not going to let you use the time machine again.
Anyone that could bash the head of an infant really isn't someone we want to spend the future with either.
If history was meant to be and in the making of the big picture, in the absence of Hitler, someone else would have replaced him.
Killing for the good of humanity has been and will be going on until society evolves to a higher plain. Killing someone makes you a killer and two wrongs don't make one right.....no matter how right it might feel.
This is so ridiculous.....
And what is going on with all the venom and sadism?
Read up on twins paradox. That is answer to your question.
History can not be changed. Every event in history has its purpose, just like every person. What you do not know, is what the purpose is, as you see only short span of history and, also, know only information that was provided to you. In both cases you can only come to a biased conclusion.
Intelligent person knows this and comes to none.
I'm not sure where this philosophical idea comes from, but it is rubbish, just like the idea that an extinct species was 'targeted' for extinction by some vague concept of nature or the plan of one deity or another.
If your daughter was shot and killed yesterday by a stray bullet through your living room window, and you had the ability to go back in time one day to have her move two feet to the left on the couch and save her life, you would refuse because "Every event in history has its purpose"? You are one cold blooded person, if so.
Hypothetically speaking if one had access to a time machine and decided they wanted to go on a serial killing spree of the worst humans to have ever lived - pretty much evil incarnate, basically Satan's top Lieutenants would it be okay to kill them all as infants? Even though they may have not had time to grow up at all would it really be bad if say you found the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Muhammad, etc. as infants and took them from their cribs and say bashed their skulls, drowned them, threw them off a cliff etc.? Again, sure they haven't had time to grow up but knowing they will eventually become pure evil and cause mass killings would killing them as infants really be bad apart from the timeline changing of course?
If you raised baby Hitler, Stalin, ect in loving homes under entirely differend curcomstances they wouldn't grow up to be the same people as the originals. Life experience is the #1 major determinig factor in who you become.
So rather than becoming a infanticidal maniac monster yourself, you should pick the moral option and adopt them as babies instead.
