I'm looking for ideas for a restaurant that's centrally located (not too far east, west or south, reasonably north is OK) with a small meeting room that is either available at no charge or with a reasonable total dining bill. We need this for monthly evening meetings for approx 10 people.

Would Sizzler work for you? We have used them in the past in CA.

That's an idea... we don't have as many locations of Sizzler here as we used to have. I'll put it on the maybe list. Thanks!

When I worked at the Arizona Center downtown we used Mi Amigos for a few group meetings in their back room.

Barro's Pizza at 7th St and Coral Gables has a small meeting room. I don't know the details of cost but it is an idea. Also you might try some of the non denominational churches in the area you want to be in. They have rooms that are available for meetings, no food, but you may be able to have delivery.

I'd recommend Aunt Chiladas.

They have two locations, but I've only been to the one off Dreamy Draw and can attest that they have a very nice meeting room and I also like their food. A friend who scheduled her husband's 40th birthday party there can vouch that their prices are reasonable. Service has been good anytime I've been there.

Banquets

There is another location near South Mountain as well.
