Does anybody know of a good place to get cold king crab legs in Gilbert or any surrounding cities that are close by? Where I live now, theres a local buffet that serves king crab legs over ice, and you just go up and grab them and put them on your plate.. anything like that around the gilbert area?

You may be able to find what you're looking for on Google.
I found this link where you can order them direct from Alaska through this flower shop.
For years we've ordered lobster flown

Are you looking for a restaurant / buffet that serves them? Or are you looking to buy them to take home and eat?

In the city of Maricopa there is Harrah's casino. Fridays and Saturdays they have an all you can eat crab leg buffet. But they make the damn things so salty they don't taste very good.

In Tempe there is a Joe's crab shack, never been but i hear it isn't bad.

If you want to take them home most grocery stores have a variety of crab to purchase.

Pacific Seafood Buffet - call first to make sure they have what you want. I see coupons for discounts all the time in the coupon mailers.

If you want buffet I'd second Pacific Seafood, that is solid with nice variety. That said, there are easily a half-dozen of the upscale Asian buffets in the SE Valley that run about $15 at night and have crab legs. I'm just not sure about iced vs. steamed.

Yep, Pacific Seafood would be my recommendation. But call ahead is good advice and remember that they will be the thin snow crab claws, not king crab claws.

But I can't help but wonder why you don't just DIY at home. . .

I've changed course on this only very recently. It used to be local grocers would have snow crab legs for $3.99, $4.99 per pound so it did make a lot more sense to buy them and steam at home. Hell you could do even better and grill them, etc.

These days though seems like every time I get a hankering I look and the legs are $7.99/lb at Kroger. Pacific Seafood buffet is $16 for dinner, and I can definitely throw back 2 pounds of crab legs, so it is a wash. Plus can eat a few crawfish, oysters, shrimp, sushi, etc. generally make a pig of myself. I guess if catch legs on sale can make a difference.

Lots of sales on these things around the holidays. Stock up.

That said, we've noticed higher prices on all grocery and food items. I don't expect that to go away.

Back on topic - I believe the Indian casinos do these a couple of times a week - maybe with prime rib. Check that out, too.
