I'll be temped to run the heater for a day when we get into the mid nineties.

Next month at this time I'll be just a couple hours away from floating around and drinking brewskis! I say, bring it on!
Yeah, getting out it does have an effect. I was surprised when we first moved here and it was cold when we got out of the pool and actually shivered when it was 110 outside. That is how I use my pool now, I get in and get wet and then get out and sit in the shade with a cocktail and a cigar. I don't find the 95 degree water refreshing while I'm in it.

I don't have much shade on my pool so with the aerator going every night I can only keep mine between 93-95 degrees in July and August.

We don't always agree, but that sounds like a damn nice plan.

Just a suggestion but have you checked your mineral content? THe higher the mineral content, the warmer the water tends to be...just my observation of course.

Minus the cigar.

I'm curious how hot our pool is going to get this year seeing how it's pretty small, should be interesting.

While the low humidity makes it feel cooler when you get out of the pool, when you're in the water the humidity has no bearing on how 95 degree water feels.
I've been in pool in the desert before, I know what to expect. I've been COLD at the pool when the temp was 100 because of the low humidity. I'd prefer warmer water.

Had you put jets in it you could have bragged to your friends that you put in a large hot tub.

Haha...there are actually 3 in-floor cleaning heads on the 6' tanning ledge and when the cleaning system is on, the water goes nuts and bubbles like crazy...very spa like.

Why would you already want to think about 100+ degree weather when the temps have been perfect lately? You should learn to live in the present time. Oprah, Eckhart Tolle...they would tell you the same thing, it's crucial to inner peace.

As of right now, weather.com is saying 98 degrees for Phoenix on Wednesday. It's possible that it could hit 100, but I'm not sure. But I'm going to guess and say that it'll be 100 some point before April is over!

When do you guys think it will be 100 + regularly? I think the first 100 degree day will be in a little spark like the 90s coming next week, as it will go back to 80s. I think we will see a spark in 100 then go back to high 90s then maybe start seeing constant 100 + weather in late may
