What's his destination. You have 2 choices, drive east over to CaveCreek/Scottsdale Rds or west over to Lake Pleasant Highway. Long drives.
Or you could fly in a helicopter, otherwise it's still I-17.

303 west? Where are you going? Really the I17 is not bad all the way south to the stack even during the peak rush hour.

I don't know why the OP started another thread, but Mayo Hospital is the destination. commuting from Tramonto to Mayo Clinic hospital

There really isn't a back way. The 101 is the way to go, if you are talking about the hospital around 52nd-56th St by the 101.

There's also 27th Drive to North Valley Parkway to 19th Ave (which you can then take to Happy Valley which becomes 7th St.). You can also take North Valley Parkway to Dove Valley Road (which becomes Sonoran Desert Dr.) to Cave Creek Rd.

An option would be to take North Valley Parkway, which turns into 19th Avenue and travel to wherever he needs to go. Another option is to take North Valley Parkway to Dove Valley Road/Sonoran Desert Parkway to Cave Creek and go south.

Interesting. To the OP- try that one out and see how much faster it is.

If you have a smart phone download the Waze app. It does a great job of always finding the fastest route for me in the morning, sometimes even back ways. It also helps you avoid traffic and speed traps. There are a lot of users here in the valley so it works pretty well!
