I use ground clear in the gravel and I use this expensive thing called my hands everywhere else, most weeds come right up. I spray in Feb which seems to keep the weeds at bay and I even use it around the outside of my grass area to keep the grass contained inside the border. Don't get too close to small bushes or young plants it will kill them, and don't spray when it is window you will get the spray on things you don't want dead.

Some cities here have codes regarding weeds so be mindful of that, I know Peoria drives around doing inspections and will fine you for anything too tall. Weeds can be a fire hazard and need to be kept cleaned up it isn't just for ascetic purposes.
