I got a decent amount of rain here in South Chandler and when I was out and about in the Tempe/West Chandler area this morning there was standing water in the retention areas. I know it didn't rain much in BFE Goodyear but many parts of the valley got rain.

Heard this morning that Flagstaff was supposed to get hit pretty hard but haven't heard anything since. The Verde Valley is getting lots of thunder and some rain but no "storm". Just a regular old rain and I like that. No high winds. They said later in the afternoon and evening we "might" get more like a real storm. We'll see.

Right now it's cool and feels so good, almost cold, in the low 70s. Doors open letting that cool fresh air waft through. Nice!

Enjoy. It's miserable here with temps in the upper 80s and the dewpoint in the mid-70s. Reminds me of some of the days I experienced in the midwest this summer. Too bad, too, as it has been so nice early and late the past few days. There was just a cell to the north that blew in some dust and cooler air, though. Still hoping for the big one.

The storm circled back from the North and is hitting me in South Chandler again. Had heavy winds and now rain

Yeah but it dried up during the day...just got hit again about an hour ago.
