I'm flying in to Phoenix tomorrow morning and will be staying in Scottsdale. Can anyone give me the general parameters for the Arcadia and Biltmore areas? I'd like to get a feel for as many areas as possible on the East side; the West side I believe will be a little easier to navigate.

Since these are technically in the city of Phoenix, I can't do a mapquest for them. I'm looking for general street names only, i.e. from Camelback and (whatever #) East, etc.

Thanks!

The Biltmore area is centered around 24th St. and Camelback (2400 East, 5000 North). I did a Google search for neighborhood maps of Phoenix but without success. I would label the area bounded by SR51, 64th St., south of Glendale/Lincoln, and north of Indian School Road as comprising both Biltmore and Arcadia and a bit more. This would be approximately 1600 East to 6400 East and 4300 North to 6500 North. Hope this helps.

These are subjective, but here are my boundaries:

Biltmore -- bounded on the west by the 51 Freeway, on the north by the Phoenix Mountains Preserve, on the east by 32nd St, and on the South by Campbell. The intersection of 24th St. and Camelback Road is definitely the crossroads of the Biltmore Area. Try 2400 E Camelback in MapQuest.

Arcadia -- bounded on the west by 32nd St., on the north by Camelback Rd., on the east by the Scottsdale border, and on the south by Thomas Rd. 44th St is the main artery of Arcadia. Try 4400 E Indian School to map Arcadia.

Both are great places in which to live. Enjoy your visit.

Thumbs up Great, Thanks!

Both replies are a big help. This is exactly what I needed. I'll google the streets you mentioned silverbear and go from there.

This is an AWESOME website where you can enter a neighborhood name and it will link to a map of the area. You can then choose to map the neighborhood with surrounding neighborhoods included. Then if you click on one of those color-coded neighborhoods, it links you to a page with links to rentals and homes for sale in that neighborhood. I use this site extensively in my relocation efforts. Sooooo helpful!
arizonaneighborhoods.com or ARNB.com -- both will get you there. Good luck!

Lightbulb try www.zillow.com

Another good site to help with information on homes – try www.zillow.com. You’ll need to play around with it a little but it has a ton of information on homes and areas.
