Hello I am in the process of relocating to Phoenix on July 4, and once I'm there I am going to need an experienced dog sitter for the times when I travel for my job. I will be living in the North Central Phoenix Area near North Mountain Park. My dogs are very sweet, a Pitbull and a Heeler mix (the Pitbull goes to obedience school and has a certificate). I would appreciate any referrals and hope to make some friends, too.

We use Pete and Mac's in Gilbert. But they have one on Happy Valley in Phoenix also.

We've used them for day care and for a one week boarding, and have been very happy with them.

For day care they have a large room with all the dogs together and one care taker in the room.

I don't know if they have a restriction or not, but they do have the responsibility for the safety of all dogs there.

If they won't let the dog in day care, they may accept her in their overnight cages. They have some large cages for dogs so they aren't cramped up, and I believe they let them go to relieve themselves in an isolated area one at a time.
