Hint #1 : It wasnt like that at first. Notice the shape? It was very symmetrical until something happened to it, or rather something was done to it

Did you heat it and it shriveled like that. like a a peice of packing material ,styrofoam or a sheet of plastic

Yes it was heated, but it isnt packing material or plastic.
