Any fun ideas for Valentines Day other than the usual flowers? Something like heart-shaped pizza, cool candy stores, unique cupcake shops, etc. Just looking for some ideas other than a stuffed animal.

The August Wilson Center For African American Culture is having a "Love Jones Week"

The writer/director (an East Liberty Native) will have a reception with Q/A and a performance by neo souls artist Tamika "Love" Jones followed by a poetry slam($15). For an additional $1, you can view the movie and stay for the after party....

If it's not too cold, get the flowers and candy and whatever else you wish to exchange, and take in the evening sunset over at the West End Overlook. Watch the sun go down behind most of the north side. Stick through the night if it's clear. Count the stars, and thank your lucky ones.

Do the Gateway Clipper cruises operate in the winter? That would be a great Valentine dinner! (IMO)

Since most restaurants are already booked, there is one place that night that you'll be able to get a table - Hooter's. Are they still around? A gay couple I know went there a few years ago after not being able to get a table anywhere else. It was almost empty, since no guy is going to take his girl there.

Want to do something really classy and special? Take her to Jacks for the "Boneless Chicken Dinner."

EDIT: Just kidding; you'll get dumped.

My fiancee would love to go to Hooters if they actually had attractive women there.
