Awe. They visit Pittsburgh every two months because her nephew lives in Pittsburgh due to having 3 organ transplants.

I'm glad to hear the police are considering commendations for the men. Even though I wish they had waited for police, what they did is truly brave.

Yes indeed. The four men in the store during all this that helped the girl in harms way should get a hero's badge. The two man chasing the knifeman into the Target with a baseball bat? Not so much.

Two or three of the men chasing the attacker into the Target are part of the four who helped the girl.

I found it. I wasn't sure if I believed what happened in that article since it was so early on, but it does seem the man with the baseball bat was involved in taking the guy down. One one hand that part was okay, but this all might not have happened if they didn't pursue the knifeman into the store in a fit of rage. What all happened to create all this? Who knows? We probably won't ever know, but maybe there is footage somewhere down the street?

The last I read is that he randomly stabbed one of the 4 and they then chased him and he went in Target. But who knows..there seems to be various stories floating around.

Yeah, the stories are all over the map. Maybe someone will piece it altogether at some point? Hard to say, but it was a bad scene. There were 13 cop cars on the scene and several ambulances according to someone I talked to that fled from inside after hiding for a moment. Traffic was solid on Penn and people were very unsettled. The news traveled in seconds in the area, so everyone knew a great deal about what went down, but at first report it was 5 people getting stabbed. One critical was quickly announced by people in the area. Ah well, no one got killed this time, so that is a plus and the 16 year old girl is already released from the hospital and looked pretty healthy. What stories she will tell about her visit to Pittsburgh down there in Tennessee.
