PP, SCR, and HP, I have found your house! Sounds perfect for all your needs. Four units in West Deutschtown with historic details intact! You could buy as a group, and each live in one of them.

That is actually not a bad idea. They're looking for people who are sensitive to saving the historic details. Could be their next homes.

Sounds like a reality show but throw in HCurtis and it would be even more interesting.

The tough part of this will be repairing the Inselbrick siding on this property. Its sort of hard to find nowadays as they aren't manufacturing much of it.

Of course, the new owners could put up vinyl siding or some other covering, but that would take away from the historical authenticity that the citizens council is looking to preserve.

A couple of small business districts, one around Langley- used to be a Foodland and Bards down there as well as Sheraden Bank, a candy store, a bakery and a bar that I'd be a bit wary of entering as well as the post office.

The other is up near Chartiers and Allendale, has some bars, a pharmacy a grocery store or two and a bank branch.

If you're looking for authenticity, nothing says Pittsburgh Working Class like Inselbrick. Except perhaps Koolvent awnings.

Is that stuff ugly or what. My grandmother waited a respectful amount of time after my grandfather's death, and then she had that Insulbrick ripped off their house and replaced with some tasteful vinyl siding that looked like real wood clapboards.

This guy painted his white, and it actually looks nicer. lol
