See above.

See above. And Denver's views are pretty good too!

Yet it's retained and kept up all these attractions despite population loss!

Sure, you could pick a couple of cities and argue that their views are on par with Pittsburgh. What we have is definitely unique and among the best in the nation. I place it at the top because there is no other US city where you can up an incline, be a tenth of a mile from the city and 500 feet above it, and see everything we have (skyscrapers, rivers converging, golden bridges, hills and valleys, etc.). Our baseball stadium view and the views from the north shore are unmatched in my opinion too. If you said we were among the best in scenic views overall but not number 1, I could respect that though.

Frankly, we have more attractions than most, and we’re probably on par with Boston (where I lived before moving here).
But I think it's odd to say that because other, bigger cities have museums and zoos, that you wouldn't visit those kinds of attractions in Pittsburgh while you're visiting Pittsburgh.

Hmmm. I'm sure Denver has nice views but those pictures are unimpressive.

Compare that to a few pictures from my Flickr page (https://www.flickr.com/photos/67163551@N07/)

This is a very pathetic view of a city. I like Denver a lot but I would keep that comparison out of it unless you want to be embarrassed.

Yeah Denver isn’t pretty like Pittsburgh. Better leave that comparison alone.

Why would anyone be embarrassed about a view?

Pittsburgh has some beautiful views, but imo for vacationing, I’m choosing ocean and/or mountain views every trip.

Eh, most people can drive an hour and see a mountain.

Most people can also look at pics of any view they want.

But you were talking about vacationing (and experiencing first-hand) right? My point is what's in Pittsburgh is much rarer than just seeing a mountain. Most people don't even need a vacation for the latter.
