Happens to even the best of them, no sin, just a fact of football life.

i agree. i had been saying this for over a year - i probably was premature with this, but you are voicing what might become common sentiment among fans in 2020.

Stillers are +3 going into the game. Nobody, including betting world, doesn’t think it’s not going to be a close game.

fair weather, late in the season, the holidays, and the jets fan without worry of the playoffs looming...the fans and the Jets will be fired up. the steelers, with good defense, will still be hobbling downfield for field goals after a first/10 at the 15.....just guessing, but i would not put the Steelers at +3.

im not optimistic, but not overly pessimistic with this game.

What does fair weather have to do with this game?

Whoops. Stillers were -3 and are now -3.5.

Always lots of rationalization in spite of actual stats/numbers. What’s your prediction?

His stats proved it to be premature.

The only way it becomes common sentiment is if he can’t play.

Nah....he gets rid of the ball fast enough that he doesn't get hit a lot. Hell, Warren Moon played into his 50's.

It's going to be much more about will than health with Ben.

Many have no idea how durable he’s been and/or know how old some of the top qb’s in the league are or how long some of the top qb’s in NFL history have played.

They also don’t realize you can’t keep using draft picks to take a quarterback, especially when they don’t have a 1st round pick next year.

No future HOF RB James Conner this year, but there will be players that choose not to accept and/or can’t play due to being in the Super Bowl.

Many have said Ben needs to retire and/or the Stillers need to get some quality qb’s due to believing Ben is going to be out of the league in the very near future.

Here’s the projected qb’s in the 2020 college draft.

https://walterfootball.com/draft2020QB.php

You also have the option to sign upcoming free agent qb’s and/or present qb’s that you could trade for.

Dobbs was drafted in 2017 and is no longer here.

Rudolph was drafted in 2018.

Hodges is presently the starter and Lynch is 3rd string.

Don’t forget to factor in salary cap, draft order, player salaries, etc...

Who are you signing/drafting/trading for so the Stillers are prepared for when Ben is gone?

A lot of money being bet on the Stillers. They’re now -2.5. Any predictions?

I'm betting Stillers -2.5
