I saw, a decade ago Fallers was mentioned...all of Jacobs grandsons had stores...monroeville, pitcairn, wilkie etc

Didja know that they are STILL in business? Clarion (main store), Frybrug (old store turned into antique mall and current warehouse built off the back) Fallers fine furniture and mortuary is the longest running business in PA under the original family and #69 in the nation - fun fact.

I have been doing business in the Fryburg store for 11 years now, the building is the 3rd version and is STILL well over 100 years old.

Krogers was in the miracle mile back when I had to go there every weekend, Loreskis trains and service Merch for the glorious stereos! shopped at krogers billions of times. and we had an A&P in norwin in town square plaza, near where the shop & save is, but off to the side back up against the hill. Where shop and save is now was the 'action hardware' store.

Keller Hardware at 900 penn has been there forever plus 5 years.

use to be calagerro barbar shop in turtle creek pa, he was also the tax collector.

Turtle Creek is a borough, so you might try The T.C. Borough Tax Collector's office at 125 Monroeville Avenue. records are public and you could cross-check with your address. when I go to a small Municiple office, I tke a dozen donuts and arrive at about 9:30 am. it gets lots of cooperation/help.
