Interesting thing about Zayre’s. It sort of became T.J. Maxx.

Well— the stores sold to Ames, but the corporation was owned by the TJ Maxx people, and they merged it into that corporation.

Rumor is Ames is reopening after Going out of business 20 years ago. Their website says reopening spring of 2023. I'm wondering if this is a hoax. I'd love to see Ames Bradley's, Zayres all come back it I can't see that happening

Thanks for that link. I hope it all happens then, and Ames is able to make a comeback. We need other stores besides Walmart and Target. Many places in the USA only have Walmart and maybe a Dollar store to shop at. It's like that where I live in Florida.
