Someone filed a false police report against me claiming that I assaulted them, because of a conservative symbol that I have in my yard. Conservatives are subject to being victims of hate too - it just doesn't make the news when it happens to us.

All I see is another raspy-voiced, insane yinzerette acting like a mental patient in public. Yeah I suppose it's "learned behavior", but seriously it's Braddock. What the hell does she expect? That woman probably went back to her shanty and got drunk on Natural Ice while she chain smoked 2 packs of Pall Malls and watched wrestling on her tube TV from the 80's. Being accosted by someone like that in Braddock, for whatever reason, isn't Twitter-sympathy worthy. What's really funny about this incident though, is that the woman Mrs. Fetterman is so upset about is actually a pretty good representation of what's left of the "working class blue collar" people who still live in a lot of these rotting old river towns in western PA. The Fettermans are living in quite the bubble if they actually believe that these people aren't the absolute pinnacle of paranoid xenophobia.

That assumes reason behind the statement. People that use purposely offensive language have no sense of reason.

wait.....this thread...what exactly is happening?

i have been called so many things, it doesn't phase me. but seeing / hearing the 'n' word, directed to someone is painful to watch, and always will be.

i wouldn't take her (the assailant) seriously, though. for every one of her, there are 3 more somewhere else. hopefully they will die off within a generation or two.

That would be the hope, but there are those that will never let it die, and will continue to teach it to their children and have “the talk” to keep it alive and well.
