like the 80s again. or some cities in certain third world countries. or both. edit: take it to the suburbs. sherden was a good city neighborhood as recently as the early 90s at least.

I wonder if the curfew will work. Pittsburgh is on pace to have 122 murders for 2021, compared to 111 the year prior. The last time Pittsburgh hit the 120 mark was 2008.

Pittsburgh's murder rate (2020): 36.7 per 100,000
Pittsburgh is on pace for 40.3 per 100,000 this year.

I say murders is a bad metric. I say shots fired is better. that eliminates bad marksmandship and great medical care as slew-ers

I believe that they imposed this within the former German Democratic Republic before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Great for the mall. Unfortunately it affects those that behave due to the losers that choose not to.

That is what people don’t realize. We live life to the lowest common denominator. If a group keeps acting like fools the good people pay for it. At some point the city will become more militarized due to the same people acting up. That is how it works.
